Kushi Raku at TTDI

Stick it to us: New kushikatsu specialists have sprung up all across the Klang Valley this year, specialising in skewers & more. For residents of Taman Tun Dr Ismail, Kushi Raku is determined to deliver traditional Japanese soul food in an izakaya setting.

Kushi Raku gets its grill going with both chicken (breast, thigh, wings, liver & gizzard, mostly RM3-RM7) & pork (meatballs, belly & bacon wraps, RM6), as well as beef, vegetables & seafood (squid tentacles wriggle in at RM8), plus side dishes like udon, soba & ‘yaki onigiri’ rice balls with curry (RM8) to satisfy the after-office drinking crowd.
