Ode Art Cafe at Subang Jaya: Snapshot

Sometime in 2014, we stumbled on Ode Art Cafe & met its founder Cassie for the first time; she was preparing to leave to see her husband, who was recovering from a hospital procedure, but she was kind, patient & generous enough to spend several minutes talking to us. We returned weeks later & chatted with Cassie & her father, enjoying their hospitality, spaghetti & coffee. Since then, this creative community space has welcomed many more visitors & cultivated a reputation as a soul-soothing sanctuary on Subang’s crowded streets. We haven’t been back in a long while, but we have fond memories of Ode Art Cafe.
