The BBP at Bukit Utama: Snapshot

The BBP (‘Big Black Pig,’ according to a member of the service team, though ‘Best BBQ Pit’ appears to be their chosen alternative) is cosy & welcoming, but unfortunately, the food fell far short when we were here. The pork ribs tasted past their prime, with a nearly rank flavour that prevented us from finishing them – they were also undercooked, tough & mainly bony. The bacon wrap skewers, meanwhile, were basically sodium bombs with scant nuance. Both the kitchen & service teams were enthusiastic, eager to please & willing to hear out customers’ feedback, so we wish we could have recommended this place.
