The fish head curry makes quite a splash when it surfaces at the table – even the smallest serving seems dauntingly gigantic.
Ministry Of Fish Head Curry relies on line-caught red snapper, grouper or jenahak for its namesake signature offering; cured with sea salt, steamed and semi-stewed with spices galore, the head is served in a coconut milk curry laced with yoghurt, plus tomatoes, okra and eggplant (RM98.89 to RM138.80, depending on size).
Unsurprisingly fresh, fleshy and flavoursome, this seems likely to be a treat for fish head curry fans, a hearty meal rounded out with spinach chapati, beef keema paratha and biryani rice.
