Latin Tropical Yoko's at Changkat: Restaurant Review

Equally enticing: The long-running Yoko’s at Changkat Bukit Bintang has endured a major renovation and overhauled its menu, transforming from a Japanese restaurant into Latin Tropical Yoko’s, a Colombian one (!).

Carimanolas, Colombian cassava fritters stuffed with chicken & cheese. Moreish to the max.

What’s wrapped in these plantain leaves? Something delicious, we hope.

Might be ‘tamales tolimenses,’ pork, peas and eggs bundled in cornmeal.

Or could be ‘ayacas,’ beef-filled corn cakes that taste, well, rather rustic.

Colombian Nectar Licor Anisado, alongside Colombian Flag and Bahama Mama cocktails.
