Down a dark alley in Damansara Uptown, here’s a new bright spot for fans of street food: Chips.my offers hand-cut fries, cooked to order, thick & fairly fluffy, made with russet potatoes, served with a choice of sweet-spicy sauce or tangy lemon aioli.

Ideal for midnight munching – Chips.my opens in the evening till at least 1am. Each portion of the fresh, warm & golden-crusted chips costs RM5, plus RM1 per dip. Pretty good stuff, unburdened by the excess oil or salt associated with fast food. Chips.my marks a nice start for its creator Jun Yit & his partners Wye Keat & Ken, childhood friends seeking a foothold in F&B, with hopes for a food truck or full-fledged outlet soon.
