Back by popular demand, Vasco’s will be hosting the Smokehouse again this September. Feast on an array of traditional, smoky Southwestern-style grilled meats on at Hilton Kuala Lumpur. The international buffet restaurant, Vasco’s, delivers unique flavours from around the world while serving up a variety of authentic cuisines with interactive live cooking stations.

From 1 September – 9 October 2019, Vasco’s will be featuring the Best of Smokehouse BBQ as part of the international buffet. The buffet is priced at only RM188nett per adult and RM68nett per child (aged 6–12). For an additional RM120nett, adults can enjoy a free flow beverage package of selected red and white wine, beer by bottles, soft drinks, and chilled juices.

The barbecue buffet features different types and cuts of meat from various South Western American states, where each state has its own unique sauce, rub, and style of cooking. Texas is famous for smoked brisket, lamb ribs and hot sausages that are traditionally cooked over mesquite wood. Kansas City uses hickory wood, its own rub mix, and thick, sweet sauce for its beef brisket, lamb and beef ribs, chicken and sausages. Memphis is known for their sticky-finger experience with smoked dry and wet ribs, and pulled meats served with a soft bun. Alabama keeps it simple with chicken and soft meat sandwiches. Also big on white meat, Louisiana is all about jerked chicken and BBQ chicken.

No barbecue is complete without complementing sides like collard greens, mac and cheese, corn hush puppies, skillet corn bread, grilled corn, sweet potato and maple syrup mash and coleslaw. A large selection of sauces are available to suit everyone’s palate including sweet mustard sauce, sweet and spicy BBQ sauce, Texas BBQ sauce, Kansas style BBQ sauce, Memphis style BBQ sauce, Carolina style sweet heat sauce, Kentucky style BBQ sauce, Cajun BBQ sauce and Louisiana BBQ sauce.

Also, do not miss out on the live cooking stations that offer tantalizing grilled tandoor meats, kebabs, and koftas, freshly steamed fish alongside the noodle kitchen, made-to-order pastas and pizzas, and of course the Japanese section that lays out fresh sashimi and sushi. If you’re in the mood for shellfish, the seafood on ice bar has curried crabs, mussels, clams, and prawns to satisfy you along with an array of sauces.

As with any good buffet, the sweet temptations at the dessert corner will have you forgetting how full you are, just so you can spoil yourself with freshly baked mini lava cakes, ice cream and sorbets with various toppings, chocolate crepes, cakes, and pastries.

Enjoy your lavish meal with a live band that plays from 7:30pm to 9:30pm on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
