Review: WIP on the Park
April 28th, 2025
A 1967 Fiat 600 sits in the corridor of KL’s newest hideout for Italian fare, near a portrait of Naples’ sun-kissed shores: Monnalisa founder Carmine hopes to do justice to the food of his hometown – expect pastas like crusty oven-baked linguine with beef, ricotta and buffalo mozzarella (RM28) or orecchiette with savoury broccoli sauce (RM20), typifying low-fuss, homely cooking. Finish with the Neapolitan favourite of rum baba (RM15) and say salute with Nero d’Avola (RM20) and limoncello (RM15).
