Review: WIP on the Park
April 28th, 2025
Checking out Kazumi’s Saturday Japanese dinner buffet, which costs a reasonable RM89.40 nett for adults & RM44.70 for kids, as of early 2015 (but be sure to confirm the latest prices while making reservations). This was formerly Kampachi at the Equatorial Bangi, but it’s now Kazumi after the hotel turned into Hotel Bangi-Putrajaya.
The raw fish meets the minimum benchmark for satisfaction – sufficient incentive to return to the sashimi counter for seconds.
Our favourite’s the maki section – soft-shell crab rolls boast crisp crustacean flesh; unagi rolls offer plump toppings of eel.
No lack of all-you-can-eat seafood, whether you’re seeking shishamo, prawns, clams or salmon, from the head to the belly.
The remainder of the selection scores mainly for variety, not quality; that’s OK, since every buffet has both hits & misses.
