Hitting the sweet spot as the work week winds up, here’s a brief glimpse at Coffeels Coffee Kitchen, another friendly hangout in Kota Damansara.

Magnum-Topped Waffles

Magnum-topped waffles (RM15) are Coffeels’ claim to fame; this photo shows one of the initial incarnations of this dessert when the cafe opened in September, but the current version might look different, since Coffeels has been working to fine-tune the presentation & flavour.

If the snaking queues seem too long outside the new Magnum Kuala Lumpur ice cream store in Mid Valley this weekend, then Coffeels’ Magnum waffles could prove a suitable substitute.

Pumpkin Cheesecake

Pumpkin cheesecakes (RM7) with a distinct flavour are among Coffeels’ other interesting attractions; savoury specialities like tom yam chicken meatball spaghetti are available too.

Pleasantly Priced Coffee

A cafe that’s named Coffeels cares about coffee, of course. Pleasant prices; espressos clock in at RM5 & lattes at RM9.
