Jemi Cafe at Taman Desa: Snapshot

Jemi Cafe is a comparatively discreet hideout, tucked on the first floor, but waffle devotees might want to try its savoury waffle, comprising a striking tower of crunchy battered squid (RM15.90), followed by a well-made dessert called  ‘Golden Cubes’ – chunks of crispy toast complemented by the likes of sweet potatoes, macarons, berries & ice cream (RM15.90), washed down with a ‘dirty’ chai latte (RM8.90; a chai latte with a shot of espresso). Portions are princely, without costing a king’s ransom.
