Kepochi Cafe at Taman Desa: Snapshot

Taman Desa is maintaining its allure as a magnet for new eateries, offering something for any time of the day – soon after the sun rises, so does the cutely named, charmingly decorated Kepochi, a kopitiam-style joint that jump-starts every morning with East-&-West breakfasts that leap from lempeng kelapa with spicy anchovies (RM7) to potato pancakes with beef brisket (RM12), 7am-1130am daily. Alas, late risers like us will never make it here that early, so we’ll have to content ourselves with a lunch or dinner of beef chili & cheese nachos (RM12) & char kuey teow (RM9) – fairly wallet-friendly & reasonably flavoursome.
