1. KariGuys

A family owned restaurant, KariGuys serves up special recipes of traditional Malaysian dishes dating back three generations. KariGuys is famous for its “Kari Ayam Sempait” dish, available on their set lunch menu, which was developed by the current owners’ grandfather in 1951. Known for it’s lively atmosphere, head down to The Social on weekdays and enjoy one of their lunch sets with a group of friends. Their two course lunch set includes one of the small eats and one main or one main and a soft drink. With a variety of authentic Hainanese as well as Western and English cuisine, this well-known café brand serves an array of dishes to pertain to your palette. Among the selection are local favourites and Tapper’s signature spaghetti carbonara served with chicken bacon. DASH of Nutmeg is something of a family enterprise with fare that feels touched by homemade, honest virtues. This kiosk launched by Nutmeg is aimed at diners on the go; offering sandwiches, flat breads, and desserts. They also offer lunch sets which include one main and a side plus one drink for an affordable RM20, inclusive of tax.

The dishes change from day to day, so an example of set you can choose would be a main of either Al’s Italian beef or smoked chicken with chilli pesto with a side of s salad, fried, or potato chips, accompanied with a glass of refreshing iced lemon tea. Nutmeg’s lunch sets are available between 11am and 2pm.
