Review: WIP on the Park

This review is brought to you in part by Bites Cafe.
Indomie, innovated: Indonesia’s favourite instant noodles encounter an intriguing makeover at Bites, crowned with spicy Indonesian recipes crafted by a Jakarta-based chef for a playful cafe-style twist to the Maggi Goreng mamak experience.
Bites’ Indomie Series includes the classic Balinese-inspired Sambal Matah with sauteed sausages, onions and mushrooms (RM8.90++), savoury minced chilli beef (RM8.90++) and traditional beef Dendeng Balado (RM10.90++), each complemented by a poached egg, arranged in ascending order of tongue-tingling to palate-scorching. Certain to make customers sweat.
Our favourite is the Cabe Ijo, featuring tender grilled chicken blanketed in a robust, textured sambal (RM10.90++). If you prefer your noodles soupy, try the seafood soto, immersed in a broth that’s not too rich or heavy (RM11.90++). And if you simply can’t decide, check out the Jumbo Platter for sharing (RM29.90++), showcasing four types of preparations. It’s been awhile since we had this much instant noodles, but it brought back memories of late-night campus suppers. Thanks to Bites for having us back.
