Review: WIP on the Park
April 28th, 2025
It’s been nearly four months since DR.Inc sprang up in Bangsar, swiftly establishing itself as an essential neighbourhood space. Now, the next phase of its founders’ master plan is taking shape, with the formal unveiling of CL.Inc, W.Inc & TH.Inc.
Earlier introduction to DR.Inc: December 3, 2014.
The short story: CL.Inc is the first floor above DR.Inc; it’s available to rent for events, meetings & social celebrations, offering a casual & colourful alternative to typical function rooms. Booking packages start from RM2,800 nett for up to 25 people, with house sandwiches, snacks & coffee provided for four hours. This space will also host W.Inc, which refers to bespoke workshops that’ll be regularly scheduled; expect interactive silkscreen classes next month & freestyle painting sessions later.
The folks of DR.Inc/CL.Inc/W.Inc will also boldly venture into publishing – in May, brace for the inaugural issue of a quarterly in-house magazine titled TH.Inc, which will serve as a platform for writers, customers & other contributors to voice their views on everything from culture to coffee. Expect insightful perspectives & bitingly honest commentaries.
Speaking of bites, DR.Inc has expanded its repertoire to serve ‘Sunday Surprise’ meals, lovingly made by local cooks. Bella’s nasi lemak sells out every time, thanks to its intensely fragrant flavour, while Halim’s tender oxtail soup is the soul-food equivalent of Mom’s hug. And now that the section upstairs is open, DR.Inc patrons have more space to explore & linger in.
