The Cafe Chicken at Desa Sri Hartamas: Snapshot
Open through 2am, The Cafe Chicken (spearheaded by a Korean couple) seems perfect for those midnight munchies, promising poultry as the Koreans do it – the signature crisp and chunky fried chicken is coated in soy or sweet-and-spicy sauce, emerging fresh from the pot with a finger-scorching heat (RM60 for a whole fowl of both flavours).
The ultimate diet-destroyer is the princely portion of fried chicken with melted cheese, as moreish as anticipated (RM60), but the temptation that’s most worth its calories is the gizzard dish, delicious fried or grilled with garlic sauce (RM23). Down with iced yoghurt soju (RM22).
