Review: WIP on the Park

Harley’s in Taman Tun Dr Ismail, opened by the diversified F&B group that runs Canton Fare & Hanare, is a new burger brand you should check out.
Harley’s is the culmination of its widely travelled Malaysian founder’s nearly decade-old dream to bring in burgers that are meant to taste like the USA’s In-N-Out Burgers. No-frills, back-to-basics burgers.
We tried the 2×2 Beef Burger (RM11.90), inspired by In-N-Out’s Double-Double. The patties are the main attraction, thanks to their smoky flavour & pleasant char. Beginners can try the basic beef or chicken burgers for RM6.90 each (add RM1 for cheese). Customers also have two sauce options: ‘Classic’ (similar to BBQ sauce) or ‘secret.’
Fried chicken is available too, as is coffee (Americanos, lattes & cappuccinos) made with organic beans from Myanmar.
We like Harley’s outdoor seating section; it’s inventively designed, family-friendly, spacious & leafy. Perfect for a cool evening.
Customers can also choose to eat in air-conditioned comfort; Harley’s shares a space in TTDI’s LGB Tower with sister restaurant Golden Valley, a Chinese outlet that serves everything from claypot beef brisket to freshwater prawn mee to eggplant with salted egg. Both Harley’s & Golden Valley are intended to be halal eateries.
