Lat Tali Lat at Damansara Kim: Cafe review

This winsome new neighbourhood cafe founded by friends Joanne (she manages stuff) and Li May (she cooks stuff) infuses a homey, personal touch into its setting and food.

Papa Yong’s Spaghetti Bolognese (RM17.90) strives to replicate the pleasures of a pasta that Li May’s father relished on a trip to Switzerland in 1975, while the GNS (RM10.50; a glass noodle salad) is a nod to the northern Thai heritage of the chef’s mom.

Fresh, no-fuss flavours, washed down with lemongrass tea and cha yen.
