Hisho Japanese Cuisine at DC Mall, Damansara City: Restaurant review

Chef Danny Leow’s lunchtime set meals at his new restaurant are a visual delight, spotlighting a spectrum of colours and components, conceived and constructed with the stylish aplomb that has been Leow’s forte since his years of spearheading the kitchen at Renaissance KL’s Sagano.

Whether you order the Ladies’ Gozen (RM35.90; comprising salmon teriyaki, beef rolls with asparagus, and more) or the minced chicken gozen (RM22.90), you’re assured of an elaborate cornucopia on your table.

During dinner, an a la carte menu and omakase selection are available, emphasising a more creative contemporary repertoire.
