Review: WIP on the Park
April 28th, 2025
Brulee Brasserie has broadened its menu with a selection of playful pizzas that inventively incorporate both local & international inspirations.
If you’ve never experienced a Sambal Petai Pizza before, that’s now one of the star attractions here, a tantalising thin-crust triumph for petai enthusiasts, teeming with slivers of the bitter bean, complemented with Brulee Brasserie’s kitchen-made sambal & cherry tomatoes (RM13).
Another domestically influenced delight is the Nasi Lemak Pizza, a fun fusion of Malaysian & Italian sensibilities, crowned with the crucial coconut milk rice, hard-boiled egg, cucumber, peanuts & anchovies (RM11).
For fans of Western brunches, the Big Breakfast Pizza might prove a hit, topped with a runny-yolk sunny-side-up & baked beans (RM15); you’ll find other experimental pizzas with pizzazz here, such as Super Hawaiian, Sun-Dried TMT, Moroccan Beef & Pesto Caviar.
Most of the pizzas average out at RM12 (each is essentially the size of a personal pizza), making for wallet-friendly meals. Round out your session with several other house specialities – creme brulee in creative flavours that change frequently, plus coffee & craft beer. Many thanks to the Brulee Brasserie team for having us here.
