Assam Boy is a colourful and convenient stop if you’re catching a movie at Berjaya Times Square, promising the locally inclined likes of Penang laksa, pandan chicken and fried popiah.
Some of the more interesting offerings here include a Mee Rebus that tastes somewhat like a strange hybrid of regular mee rebus and curry mee, distinctively dunked with two skewers of chicken satay (RM8.90), and a pretty refreshing Durian Cendol that showcases two fat, fairly fleshy pieces of the King of Fruits (RM9.90).
