Michter's Whiskey Making a Name for Itself in Malaysia

Fluffed tries to take customers on an exploration of crowd-pleasing desserts, from a signature strawberry ‘cloudcake’ (RM11, a moist sponge cake) to crisp waffles with fanciful monikers like Pooh Bear’s Favourite, The Monkey King, or Jack & The Beanstalk (RM19; topped with green tea ice cream, adzuki beans, almond pralines, honey & strawberries). The cafe makes much of its fare in its kitchen, including ice cream with flavours such as macadamia crumble, strawberry cheesecake, lavender blueberry & hokey pokey honeycomb (RM7-RM8 each), the last of which is dunked into Fluffed’s affogato (RM13). The cafe is now in its soft-launch stage; its founders say their core philosophy is ‘simplicity made perfect,’ but it could be interesting to watch how Fluffed evolves, with the possibility that it might come up with creations that leave a more pronounced impression.
