Leong Hup and Long Kee: Food truck snapshot

Leong Hup and Long Kee are two roast duck trucks that operate barely 100 metres from each other on OUG’s Jalan Awan Besar – the former claims a history that stretches back over three decades to 1982. Its duck is pricier at RM60 for a whole serving (versus RM53 at Long Kee).

Leong Hup’s duck has noticeable herbal nuances, while Long Kee’s (offered in either original roast or crispy-roast) is more savoury, so it may be a toss-up based on preference. Personally, we’d probably pick Leong Hup.
