Sheraton Petaling Jaya Celebrates Togetherness this Lunar New Year
January 8th, 2021
Singapore’s Hill Street Coffee Shop has rolled into KL, offering a colourful slice of colonial-era kopitiam nostalgia in a space that’s bursting with murals and ornaments primarily inspired by the historical Central Fire Station on the city-state’s Hill Street.
Bak chor mee is the top temptation here – mee kia served dry with minced and sliced pork, liver, lard, balls and prawns (RM16.90) – alongside other specialities such as nasi lemak with lemongrass-fried chicken, grilled beef satay, cuttlefish sambal and house-made achar (RM25.90) and Hainanese chicken rice (RM17.90).
Customer satisfaction will vary, with the flavours and textures here edging closer to mainstream mall fare than street-side hawker classics.
Address: B1.009, Basement Level, MyTOWN Shopping Centre, Jalan Cochrane, Taman Maluri, Cheras, Kuala Lumpur.
Hours: Daily, 10am – 10pm
