Review: WIP on the Park
April 28th, 2025
Bangladeshi cooking secures a boost at Roshona Bilash, thronged mainly by migrant workers in a testament to the authenticity of its fare. There’s no published menu; first, choose your rice (beef biryani is a possibility), then select some side dishes from a self-service counter filled with savoury stuff, from a potently spiced duck bhuna to lots of other curries, plus plenty of vegetables and pastes that the staff here might not be capable of explaining satisfactorily to unfamiliar customers. It’s tempting to sample everything, but some of us may wind up getting charged tourist prices, or RM50 for a meal for two.
