Cafe Olle at Hartamas: Restaurant Review

Keopi juseyo! A Korean-owned cafe has opened in recent weeks at Desa Sri Hartamas, worth a visit for folks living nearby; caffeine bar Cafe Olle.

Conveniently spacious; not the most soulful cafe around, but it’s a very practically outfitted enterprise nevertheless.

Cafe Olle roasts its own beans; some interesting varieties are available (love the catchy Americana-style names).

Coffee

Savannah Street espresso, confidently full-bodied with non-punishing acidity & a pleasing balance of sweet & bitter nuances, exactly how we like it.

Greenbow Alabama latte, creamy & satisfying.

Hot Chocolate

But we’d skip the hot chocolate, constructed with Korean-origin chocolate that tastes one-dimensional & far from robust.

Cakes

Lots of cakes here, from cheesecakes to yam cakes to red velvets.
