Demitasse at Subang Jaya: Snapshot

Tucked in a residential neighbourhood, a short stroll from rows of homes, Demitasse offers crowd-pleasing fare with a twist or three.

Eggs Benedict are revamped with crispy rosti instead of muffins (RM18), and lasagna is made specially for pork fans, with minced pork and bacon (RM15).

House-crafted desserts include a limoncello variation of rum baba, topped with mascarpone cream (RM8) and croissant-based bread and butter pudding (RM8) – fair food at fair prices.

Demitasse also roasts its own beans (a blend of Brazilian, Guatemalan & Ethiopian) for its coffee, and there’s Hoegaarden for those of us who need something stronger.
