Byhalf Cafe at Sri Petaling: Snapshot

Byhalf stands for something pretty cool – By Having A Little Faith. The cafe offers several unique signature dishes, including a ‘red pesto’ pasta in a striking house-made sauce blended with beetroot, garlic and sunflower seeds, as well as honey-glazed grilled chicken that’s bathed in an aromatic lavender marinade.

The flavours work reasonably well, but the textures may disappoint in an ironic contrast – for this visit earlier this year, the pasta proved too soft, while the chicken was a tad too tough.
