Sprezza at Phileo Damansara: Restaurant Review

Phileo Damansara might not seem like a place where the Holy Grail of caffeine could be hidden, but a coffee bar that opened this week shows that the Third Wave is ready to Roar into the neighborhoods.

First up, Phileo Damansara’s Sprezza, short for ‘sprezzatura,’ an Italian word that might characterize how coffee here is crafted. Look it up.

No Blurred Lines prove visible for former Artisan barista Azlan Ariff Azman’s latte art; the Clarity of this Rosetta might reflect the sharpness of its maker’s sum-total skills.

Caffe mocha (RM11). Terrific temperatures and comforting creaminess for these beverages, with a beautiful house blend of Guatemalan, Brazilian, Ethiopian and Sumatran beans that’s fit for Royals.
