Carlsberg Malaysia is inviting consumers to embrace the festive spirit of the Chinese New Year with its exclusive artist-edition Carlsberg Danish Pilsner and Carlsberg Smooth Draught bottles and cans. Featuring intricate designs inspired by the Year of the Snake, these limited-edition offerings symbolize renewal, celebration, and abundance.

CELEBRATING 178 YEARS WITH MEANINGFUL ART

Marking Carlsberg’s 178th anniversary in 2025, this year’s theme, Brewing Prosperity Together, is artistically represented by the Chinese characters ‘一起發,’ read in Pinyin as ‘178’ in numeric code, and symbolizing growth and prosperity. The design, crafted by award-winning artists YAO from Malaysia and Su Su from China, weaves Carlsberg’s iconic hop leaf into a striking snake motif surrounded by blooming peonies, orchids, and festive fireworks. This bold yet elegant aesthetic highlights Carlsberg’s commitment to creating memorable celebrations.

Carlsberg’s Chinese New Year celebrations include vibrant performances, engaging activities, and exclusive giveaways:

• CarlsBazaar Pop-Ups: From 9–12 January at 1 Utama, Selangor, and 16–19 January at Gurney Plaza, Penang, visitors can explore exclusive merchandise, including a stylish collaboration with TNTCO for festive apparel. The pop-ups also feature seasonal treats and CNY goodies.
• Convenience Store Promotions: Spend RM20 on Carlsberg products between 1 January and 28 February to earn RM5 in Touch n’ Go eWallet credit and a chance to win an iPad Mini.
• Dining Rewards: Submit nine bottle caps at participating hawker centres and food courts to redeem a Carlsberg thermal bottle. Lucky participants could win a Lock&Lock electric grill or weekly grand prizes of RM8,888 Ang Pows.
