Drift’s signature dessert is a triumph – cinnamon-spiced churros, nicely straddling the line between dense & fluffy, served with dulce de leche & kitchen-made strawberry jam, both thick & tasty without being cloying.

Churros & pancakes on one platter, a nice touch in theory, though when we visited in 2014, the churros could have been fresher & the pancakes fluffier.

Here’s the thing: Churros aren’t actually on Acme’s current menu, but they’re definitely something the kitchen here can tackle. Acme served them buffet-style for Sunday brunches way back in 2011 (all the churros you can eat!), so here’s hoping they make a comeback here someday.
