Modi & Rosa at Glo Damansara: Restaurant review

The latest Italian effort by Modesto Marini, the founder of Modesto’s and Marini’s On 57, is this mall-based restaurant that reportedly takes its moniker from a combination of Marini’s nickname and his eldest child’s name. The restaurant’s own tagline is ‘all about famiglia,’ supplying a family-friendly setting for familiar, safe crowd-pleasers.

Truffle up your meal with the signature Pizza Alla Modi Rosa, topped with rocket leaves, truffle oil, tomatoes and mozzarella (RM38) and the house-made, mushroom-stuffed ravioli coated in creamy truffle spinach sauce (RM36) – capably rendered fare served by a cheerfully enthusiastic team.
