Le Méridien Kuala Lumpur is renowned for serving good food and great coffee. This Christmas season, guests can choose to experience a festive meal in any of the hotel’s restaurants. We had an enjoyable evening sampling offerings from each venue ranging from PRIME’s delicious steaks to delightful eclairs for dessert. Check out some of their festive dishes that will be available, below.

For starters, we had a Homemade Duck Confit and Foie Gras Terrine served with candied fruit, figs, apple balsamic dressing, and walnut bread croutons. This special dish was prepared by Chef Domenico Piras who heads the hotel’s Italian restaurant, Favola. Next, Chef Sazli Nazim of Gastro Sentral served up his special Asian Crab and Cod Cake with a kaffir lime seafood bouillabaisse, sauteed greens, and enoki tempura.

For our main course, we chose to have one each of the Grilled Dry-Aged Beef Wagyu Tenderloin (served with buttermilk horseradish, onion wedges, truffles, sauteed fresh mushrooms, glazed baby carrots, asparagus in filo pastry) and 58 degrees Sous Vide Turkey Roulade (served with  Yorkshire Pudding, roasted potatoes with morel sauce and cranberry emulsion). Both dishes were created by Chef Antoine Rodriguez, the Executive Chef of Le Méridien Kuala Lumpur.

A Christmas meal wouldn’t be complete without dessert! Pastry Chef Chong Huan Ling of Latitude 03, the hotel’s coffee café at Lobby level, served up an impressive array of sweet treats. There was a Chocolate Chestnut Yule Log served with almond milk ice cream and Amarena cherries, and several types of eclairs decorated in true festive flair. It was as lovely a feast for our eyes,  as it was for our tongues.
