Kulcats Barrio at Taman Tun: Cafe Review

It’s raining cats and dogs at Taman Tun Dr Ismail, thanks to a neighborhood newbie that could potentially cultivate a fierce following. The cool kids are slinking over to Kulcats Barrio, a color-soaked venue with artistic flourishes aplenty. It’s no less than the embodiment of ‘hipster hangout.’

The “Sloppycats” Burger

The menu’s a hearty hodgepodge of Western faves, from a beefy-good “Sloppycats Burger” with moreish “Meow Fries” (RM18) to steaks, short-ribs and nachos.

Purr-worthy Desserts

Kulcats makes its own desserts; the chocolate pavlova’s nice enough to make us believe the banoffee pies and carrot cakes here might also prove purr-worthy.

Lap up a Latte

Lap up a hazelnut latte (or maybe the intriguing-sounding Kulcats Volcano Milo Smoothie).
