Churros N Co. at VSQ PJCC: Cafe review

Churros N Co puts a playfully unique spin on the popular deep-fried pastry – specialities include churros in savoury flavours that imaginatively span both East and West – Oriental-style chilli crab churros and salted egg yolk churros with curry leaves for the former, Coney Dog churros and cheesy churros for the latter. If you’re tired of typical churros, this could be worth investigating.

Sweet churros

Sweet churros are also enticing, with choices like Nutty Gula Melaka, Peanut Butter and Jelly, Milk and White Chocolate, Classic Cinnamon, and Salted Caramel. Each serving generally comprises four pieces of churros, costing between RM6.90 and RM7.90; these churros are handmade, first deep-fried, then finished by air-frying, resulting in a relatively dense crunch.

Milkshakes, lattes and more

Even the beverages are pretty fun – our favourite is the sesame latte (RM11.90 for hot, RM12.90 for cold), with enjoyable nuances of goma, though the Jaffa Cake hot chocolate with subtle hints of orange (RM10.90), Eton Mess milkshake with clear notes of strawberry (RM13.90) and Red Velvet Cafe Latte with a floral fragrance (RM10.90) will each also have their fans.
