The venue features a raft of familiar favourites, from sotong sambal petai to kam heong prawns, but it may hold a special allure for pork enthusiasts – the mee goreng with siu yok (RM22) conveys a satisfyingly smoky aroma, sufficient for a single-plate meal, while the nasi lemak ‘mountain’ (RM25) channels the flavours of home cooking with tau yew bak, pork kapitan and mutton rendang.

Laksa lovers might be lured by multiple temptations – the crab laksa (RM25) supplies hot, savoury comfort for rainy nights, while the Siamese laksa (RM15) strikes piquantly mellow notes. You’ll also find Penang assam laksa (RM15) and Nyonya laksa that’s served with pork or chicken kapitan (RM19 each).
