Western with contemporary flair

Welcoming the public for walk-ins, the current team of nine students tackles Western fare with contemporary flair, including a tomato salad with pesto sauce, mozzarella and mixed seaweed (RM18 nett), roasted spring chicken with wilted watercress and Idaho potato puree (RM28), stir-fried beef with rice pilaf, pumpkin and arugula (RM28) and linguine aglio olio, loaded with black truffles (RM30), demonstrating a foundation of sufficient skill that should eventually lead these graduates to greater heights.

Aesthetically pleasing desserts

Desserts are a visual treat: Creamy mascarpone puffs with mango-basil sauce (RM18) and a gooey caramelised banana-chocolate tart with Athanor’s own-made Madagascar vanilla ice cream (RM17), both enjoyable, downed with the signature beverage – Cloud @ 6 (RM13) – comprising a dark chocolate sphere melted in the heat of coffee, milk and marshmallows.
