Zen and Co at Bandar Menjalara, Kepong: Snapshot

Tucked away in Kepong, Zen and Co. ticks all the boxes when it comes to offering unique and reasonably priced Japanese fusion food, desserts, and beverages. Walking through the doors, you will be warmly greeted by the waiters, along with a relaxing cafe ambiance. The tables are set rather closely but make for a cosy setting, and you can opt to sit at the coffee bar as well.

We started off with the Crispy Unatama, which are deep fried rice rolls with river eel, cream cheese, and cucumber, followed by the Wakadori Teriyaki, Spicy Asari Pasta, and Chicken Teriyaki Don.

On to dessert, we sampled their newest menu addition, the Musang King Mochi as well as the Matcha Lava, which struck the perfect balance between the rich and sweet chocolate, and the slightly bitter matcha. We also tried two of their signature drinks, Earl Grey Chocolate and Cubes Matcha Coffee.
