Oyster lovers rejoice!
The first ever Southern Rock Seafood Oyster Festival will run from 25 October to 1 November, 2015.
This event will feature a great range and variety of oysters in Malaysia, from classic French Fine de Claire, to New Zealand Cloudy Bay, to Ireland’s super-premium Gallagher Specials, and over a dozen appellations in total.
The oysters will be available at Southern Rock Seafood, SHUCKED Oyster Bars, Bait Bangsar and other fine establishments across the city.
There will be some great oyster tasting events and also a preliminary “SHUCK OFF”, to determine the national shucking champion to represent Malaysia in the World Championship in Galway Ireland September 2016.
If you fancy your chances, come and test your shucking skills or learn how to shuck better from the shucking masters.

1. Wednesday, 28th October at 7:30 pm at Southern Rock Seafood Kitchen. Admission is RM 250
Experience the widest range of fresh oysters (12) from around the world ever available in KL, expertly paired with, Guinness, Strongbow and Champagne. Champagne grower Laurent Robert and Oyster expert Josh Green will be on hand.
2. Saturday, 31st October at 12pm – 2pm, at Shucked Gardens Outlet. Admission is RM 250.
