Vertigo at Banyan Tree Kuala Lumpur: Snapshot

If you’re in search of KL’s newest ‘view from the top,’ be sure to check out Vertigo, high atop Banyan Tree Kuala Lumpur. From this lofty vantage point, you’ll enjoy a stunning view of the city, a chill ambiance (especially at sunset), and a range of tasty tapas-style snacks that take bar food, if you’ll pardon the pun, to a whole new level. Beef features notably on a number of the bites, such as chargrilled slider – also available with chicken. We loved the roasted gaucho steak skewer, the flavourful chunks of meat served with warm pita-style flatbread for a substantial snack.

Of course, creative cocktails are on offer, too, including our fave, the Hazelnut, bringing together Kraken spiced rum, Frangelico, Monin coco, gula Melaka, and fresh lime. A lighter choice is the Gambatte, featuring Finlandia lime vodka, Cointreau liqueur, egg white, and passion fruit foam.
