Dutch Baby pancakes are Unicorn25’s speciality – oven-baked popovers, prepared fresh to order, served warm in skillets, their light crispness yielding to a comforting fluffiness in each flavoursome bite. You can have them savoury or sweet, topped with eight possible combos, such as a soft fried egg with peppery mixed mushrooms (RM18) or with Oreo crumbs and bananas. Another set of eight waffle recipes is also available, showcasing hot-meal or dessert possibilities too – say, with tuna or turkey ham, or with strawberries, chocolate sauce and vanilla ice cream (RM16). The waffle base is enjoyable, conveying a finely tuned crunch. Order the creme brulee latte to drink, with a torched top that provides a pleasant textural contrast to the coffee (RM11).
