Sukaphat Thai Vegetarian Restaurant at Old Klang Road: Snapshot

This Thai vegetarian restaurant offers enough to entice – the deep-fried ‘pomfret’ is strikingly shaped to resemble the real fish, in a substantial serving that’ll suffice for two to three customers, soaked in sweet-and-sour sauce with a colourful sprinkling of fruits and vegetables (RM28). Mock meat also takes centre stage for the ‘mutton’ massaman curry, reasonably rich and robust (RM17.90). But our best bet here is the pumpkin fried rice, flavourful and textured with ‘prawns,’ mushrooms and more (RM13.90).
