A secret sanctuary for sweets – Sugar & Butter is run by Anne & Zulfa, a married couple who offer an array of interesting cakes & other indulgences. Take a table outdoors for a leafy view of Damansara Perdana; it’s an idyllic setting for enjoying some chocolate cake with speculoos cookie buttercream, thyme-infused lemon cake with honey & mascarpone cheese, or lemongrass creme brulee with lychee & kaffir leaves, all made with heart in the kitchen. This small but welcoming cake shop is not easily noticeable from the main road, but we think it has the potential to become a firm favourite in this neighbourhood.
