Promotion: Nabe and Kaiseki courses at Sasagawa Japanese Restaurant

Japanese porcelain dolls - sasagawa

Sasagawa at Sheraton will host a traditional Japanese seasonal event on the 3rd of every month to bring a little Japanese culture to Malaysia. For example in March, Sasagawa had the Hinamatsuri Event, or Doll’s Festival, which is an occasion to pray for growth and happiness of young girls.

Each month, the Japanese restaurant will also provide seasonal Nabe (hot pot) and Kaiseki (traditional, multi-course meal) as well. Guests can immerse themselves in Japanese culture through the medium of food, as Sasagawa imports fresh and seasonal ingredients from Japan.

Nabe and Kaiseki courses offered in the coming months:

  • May and June: Wild red snapper from akashi prepared in various ways
  • July and August: Sharp-toothed eel nabe kaiseki, which is a summer speciality in Kyoto
  • Septempter: Fresh tuna from Wakayama prepared in various ways
  • October: Matsutake Mushroom Kaisale, a taste of autumn
  • November and December: Indulge in snow crabs from Kasumi and a blowfish course with blowfish from Shimonoseki
