Ramen addicts, add Menya Kotetsu to your list of destinations: The speciality here is the spicy miso ramen topped with Hokkaido-style zangi – two very chunky slices of crunchy, thickly battered chicken thigh meat, juicy with hints of a soy, ginger and garlic marinade. Light eaters, beware: This is a massive ramen bowl, decadent with a rich broth and a whole seasoned egg, plus a slice of pork chashu hidden in between the noodles – the RM34.90 price tag feels justified.
