Citarasa Harmoni at Latest Recipe, Le Méridien: Snapshot

The festive season of Ramadan is upon us yet again! Latest Recipe, Le Méridien’s in-house restaurant, is gearing up to this wonderful celebration of compassion and solidarity with a special theme of ‘Citarasa Harmoni’ or Taste of Harmony.

Lead by Executive Sous Chef Budiman Bistari bin Mohamed, the local bubbly chef has brought the traditional flavours of Malay cuisine to the illustrious line-up. The Kedah-born award-winning chef takes the helm for Le Méridien’s latest Ramadan buffet offerings, and has curated seven different rotating menus for the holy month.

Breaking fast is set to be an exciting affair with all the traditional favorites locals know and love, as you can see below! (We at EatDrink had the pleasure of sampling Menu #3.)

Among the night’s promised local specialties are the Bubur Lambuk, Sup Ekor, Lamb Rendang, Northern-style Beef Pesamah, and Ayam Kalio.

Encompassing a spirit of togetherness, the buffet is also offering many delicacies from other world cuisines such as Chinese, Japanese, Indian and Western foods.

Malaysia is truly Asia with the abundance of all the food and culture, and we felt like true locals enjoying all the familiar yet perfectly curated delicacies.

A beautiful (and hearty!) dessert counter awaits to bring your meal to a luscious close, just adjacent from a spread of familiar thirst quenchers. Traditional kuih-muih like the ever-available Apam Balik, Kuih Ketayap, and Putu Mayam, to Raya specialty cookies we definitely can’t wait for such as jam tarts, dodol and more made us salivate and torn between eating a proper meal or just make a beeline for the tidbits.

The ‘Citarasa Harmoni’ buffet dinner will be available at Latest Recipe from the 6th of May to the 4th of June 2019. Prices are RM180 nett per adult and RM90 nett per child.
