A Lofty Christmas at Nook: Snapshot

Aloft Kuala Lumpur Sentral is calling their year end festive dining ‘A Lofty Christmas’ this year, much to our delight. We recently had the pleasure of trying their preview holiday buffet spread at Nook, their all-day dining restaurant. Have a look at some dishes to expect for the upcoming jolly season.

The usual suspects present include Roasted Lamb Leg with Yorkshire Pudding, Osso Bucco, Sauteed Brussel Sprouts and Black Pepper sauce, Garlic and Herbs Crusted Roast Beef Sirloin with Mushroom sauce, and Oven-roasted Basted Turkey with Roasted Pumpkin, Sauteed Beans, Cranberry, and Giblet Sauce. Other warm and hearty dishes include Pan-fried Fish with Capers Cream sauce, Black Mussel Aglio Olio, Chicken Shepherd’s Pie, Seafood Lasagne, Beef Stroganoff, Lamb and Mushroom Ragout, and Boxing Chicken in Teriyaki Sauce.

We also indulged in several cups of hot chocolate (because it was that good), besides nibbling on the many desserts available. There were an assortment of tarts pies, cakes, and trifles. Some examples include Lemon Meringue Tart, Pecan Nut Tart, Peach Tart, Apple Pie, Pumpkin Pie, Pecan Pie, Christmas Chocolate Log Cake, Vanilla Yule Log, Cappuccino Cheesecake, Lemon and Mascarpone Cheesecake, Pistachio Mille Feuille, Cinnamon Spice and Cream Cheese Roulade, Butterscotch Trifle, Fruit Trifle, Apple and Cranberry Galette, Mixed Berries Pavlova, Madeleines, and Cake Pops, to name a few.

Nook’s ‘A Lofty Christmas’ dinner buffet spread will be available from 1 to 30 December 2018 and priced at RM118 nett per adult. There will also be a special Christmas Eve Buffet Dinner on 24 December 2018 priced at RM128 nett per adult, and a Christmas Day Lunch Buffet priced at RM98 nett per adult.
