7 tasty, new cafes and restaurants at The Mines Shopping Mall to try out

This post is brought to you in part by The Mines Shopping Mall.

Shopping malls are so much more than a place to pick up a bargain or just somewhere to escape the Malaysian heat; they’re also perfect for finding a great place to enjoy food and hang out with friends.

The Mines Shopping Mall is no exception – there are some great places to grab a coffee, enjoy a meal or just pick up some tasty treats. Here are seven places to look out for.

1. Komugi

2. Teh Tarik Place – Lot L1-98, Level 1

Teh Tarik Place has been around for a long time, but this outlet is brand new. The chefs have introduced two premium dish combinations, the first of which is Dragon Chicken, which features chicken marinated in parsley and cool dragon fruit sauce.

The flesh of the dragon fruit is juicy, succulent and low in calories, yet it offers numerous nutrients. The second new dish is the Dragon Ball, similar to the above but comprising a beef ball marinated in parsley and dragon fruit sauce.

To quench your thirst, drinks on offer include Macha Tea Tarik Goyang, brewed with a generous infusion of frothy milk. The Green Tea Tarik Goyang is creamy with a touch of bitterness lingering over the initial sweetness.
