The Marini Group of restaurants have rolled out their Valentine’s Day set menus, and they have pulled out all the stops to produce a truly decadent feast for all the senses. Marini’s on 57, Marble 8 and Marini Grand Cafe and Terrazza are showcasing an indulgent selection of luxurious gourmet delights that’s bound to impress diners choosing to really treat themselves on Valentine’s.

Marini’s on 57

With it’s breathtaking panoramic views of Kuala Lumpur city and having the Petronas Twin Towers loom spectacularly over the restaurant, Marini’s on 57 have established themselves as an unprecedented fine dining experience. With its stylishly designed rooftop bar, and elegant whisky and cigar lounge in addition to the stellar Italian restaurant, Marini’s on 57 have set themselves apart as an iconic fixture on the KL bar and dining scene. This Valentine’s Day, the culinary team at Marini’s are presenting a set menu consisting of:

Sfizi (palate opener)

Cauliflower with caviar

Antipasti I

Marble asparagus and Sicilian red prawn

Antipasti II

Pan-seared duck liver, port wine, and sulatanas

Pasta

Cannelloni with spinach, truffle, and 32-month aged parmesan cheese

Secondi

Charcoaled lobster with onion, cabbage, and lemon OR

Wagyu tenderloin with a marble score of 5, plums, red bean, and beef jus

Prima Del Dolce 

Mango and carrot sorbet

Finale

Different textures of strawberry

The meal will end with a complimentary surprise.

Priced at RM1699 ++ per couple for a normal table, and RM1999 ++ for a window table.

Marble 8

Located one floor below Marini’s on 57 sits Marble 8, a dapper and sophisticated steakhouse that’s decked out in dark wood and leather. Offering the best cuts of dry-aged beef, the restaurant has their own dry aging cellar to in order to cater to their level of uncompromising quality. Diners also get to be wowed by the views of KL city while indulging on the exquisite selections of steaks, seafood and pasta dishes. Marble 8 also has a very extensive wine selection to go with their menu, and diners will no doubt find perfect pairings with the help of their sommeliers.

Their Valentine’s Dinner menu consists of:

Amuse Bouche

Seafood basil pesto croquttes with avocado yogurt dressing and marinated cucumber salad

Appetizer

Pan-seared Hokkaido scallop with Jerusalem artichoke purée and black truffle

Soup

Porcini mushroom with crisp garlic toast, creme fraiche, and truffle butter

Main Course

Dry-aged wagyu rib eye with a marble score of 7, parsnip potato purée, zucchini fritters, and green peppercorn jus OR

Charcoal tuna cheek with orange buerre blance, sevruga caviar, and roasted broccolini OR

Pan-seared lamb loin with sweet corn purée, chanterelle mushroom, and lamb jus

Dessert

Strawberry entremet

Priced at RM1199 ++ per couple for a normal table, and RM1299 ++ per couple for a window table.

M Marini Grand Caffè and Terrazza

Noted as Malaysia’s first champagne and caviar cafe, the space oozes opulence with their palatial-styled decor and Victorian era charm. Not only do they have a meticulous selection of the best caviar, the cafe is also well known for their rich artisan coffees that go with an array of colorful refreshments and breakfasts.

For Valentine’s Day, M Marini Grand Caffè and Terraza will be offering a tapas style menu consisting of:

Amuse Bouche

Breaded mushroom

Starter I

Poached king prawn with avocado, served with lemon and tomato confit, basil mayonnaise, red pickled onions and sliced green apple

II

Home-made tagliattele pasta, king prawn and zucchini

Main Course

Braised wagyu beef cheek served with beef jus and asparagus hollandaise OR

Mediterranean sea bass with Italian crumble served with sweet Japanese tomato salad

Dessert

Rock Melon with mix berry compote and strawberry gelato

Priced at RM388++ per couple.
