If you love delicious and authentic Indian vegetarian food, or have always wanted to try it, head on over to Annalakshmi on the ground floor of Temple of Fine Arts in Brickfields. For true variety, you can go for the buffet (RM21, available for both lunch and dinner) – an array of vegetarian curries, stir-fries, salads, rice, chutneys, and other dishes, cooked with authentic Indian spices and herbs. The buffet also comes with the bread of the day (usually chapati, puri, or paratha), made fresh to order.

If you’re not in the mood for buffet, you can order from the menu, which has a great choice of both North Indian and South Indian specialties. The ambiance is quiet and serene with traditional Indian decor. Service is friendly and helpful, so if you’re not sure what to order or what the dishes are, feel free to ask the staff.
